Dark & Light has been updated today with a small patch that addresses a number of technical issues including elemental creature respawn that appears to be causing lag or crashing servers and changes and improvements to Wall of Lightning to reduce serious lag issues. This update is laying the groundwork for a much larger update coming soon.
The next patch will bring a large number of optimization updates as well as tweaked balance features. For instance, several creatures have had various resistances added, constitution damage from friendly fire has been reduced and certain weapons / spell effects have been tweaked. Other features being addressed include game play adjustments, UI improvements and a bit of graphical adjustments in the eating animation of female characters.
