Throne and Liberty has unveiled its first big expansion update, Wilds of Talandre, which goes live on March 6th. The content update will add new dungeons, revamp weapon mastery, and add the brand new zone of Talandre.
The team has mentioned some of their plans before, but this formal announcement is the first with the major outline of what’s on the way and the release date. The Talandre zone will continue the next story chapter, allow you to level characters up to 55 and lifestyle content levels to 25. The zone is a technologically advanced area adapted to harsh environments, with a water current system that adds depth to conquest battles.
There are new events to discover, field dungeons including one called Temple of Truth, and some new field bosses to encounter. After launch, there will be new regional events, Archbosses, more field dungeons, and more that will be releasing at new milestones.
The promised Weapon Mastery revamp is coming. Your current weapon mastery level will turn into experience points. Progress with weapons, learn new skills, experiment with different weapons and new builds, and customize your experience.
When the update goes live, solo dungeons are on the way, allowing you to test yourself and to earn rewards for mastering the mechanics. This will also serve as a way to prepare yourself for harder content. Three-star dungeons are also coming, so if you've been playing around in the two-star dungeons the team has added so far, get ready for additional challenges. These will unlock when you hit Level 55 and combat power 3,500.
Following the foreboding names of the already-added dungeons, these have names like Forest of Grudge, Mansion of Tragedy, and Chapel of Madness. The rewards that drop will include Epic II gear sets, Training Dew, Amitoi, and crafting materials.
Nebula Island is a new interserver activity for level 55 players. You can spend up to seven hours a week there (longer with Nebula Charge stones) in the central village or in one of its other regions (one peaceful, four PvP enabled). The island will have hourly events, hunting grounds to explore and hunt, and take on field boss battles. This island will also introduce a new accessory system called Artifacts. Artifacts will come as part of 14 different sets with three grades. you can equip multiple ones from the same set for set bonuses, and earn other perks.
Other content on the way includes new fish, collectibles, new recipes, and the introduction of elixirs to crafting. Your Amtoi can also go on expeditions in Talandre.
