With the global Early Access launch of Throne & Liberty a handful of hours away and the official launch coming October 1, T&L has put out its first major blog about content introductions and dates coming in the next several months.
This blog first outlines some of the more general update details: there’ll be major updates about every three to four months that “inject a meta-shift, new major systems, or other impactful experiences” to keep the game alive and dynamic.
Now, onto the first global updates: the Milestone system, as it’s explained in the blog, “allows you to engage with new content at a known schedule after certain server-wide objectives have been completed.” Timings for the Milestones that were present in the Korean launch of T&L have actually been sped up, thanks to feedback from that version and early tests of the global launch.
There’ll be a few types of events, aside from unlocks of Dungeons and the like. Guild PvP events consist of Boonstones, a king-of-the-hill style event, and Runestones, a territory-style PvP that rewards the team with high “capture gauges” or member counts in a capture zone.
Open-world bosses will also be split into two types. Field Bosses are the more standard type, appearing regularly with certain “valuable rewards.” Archbosses kick off in late October and only appear once a week for “impactful gear rewards.”
So far, since October is the nearest (and right after the late-September Early Access launch), we have the most detail on that month—and it’s pretty damned packed. The long and short of it is that each world event, such as Field Bosses, will unlock on Early Access servers three days before they launch fully on the main servers. Plus, there’ll be a Halloween game mode unlocking simultaneously globally, “blending familiar gameplay with eerie seasonal twists.”

The full calendar is too big to even start tackling here, including an image with full dates that’s three pages long, so we recommend peeking at the official blog for full details on October's releases.
Tentatively, for those guilds who develop throughout the first full month of launch, November will see the first “Tax Delivery Event” and the highly-advertised Castle Sieges events, plus the first season of the Arena. The former is a unique game mode where players are tasked to either protect the Tax Delivery Golem or take the defending castle’s wealth. There’ll also be 2-star co-op dungeons for those who aren’t so into the PvP aspect.
Finally, the team promises its first big update in December.
In addition, since the Korean server is ahead due to its earlier launch, there are some systems and items already released. The devs want international players to know that Tier 2 Gear won’t be a part of the 2-Star dungeon, nor will the Rune System and Trait Resonance systems be released simultaneously.
