The first castle siege event in Throne and Liberty is coming on November 17th. The team has more info on how things will play out, strategies, and rewards.
First Defender guild selection happened in each region recently, and the date is coming. The guild must decide when to schedule the first Tax Delivery event on their server to kick things off.
Tax Delivery is the phase, where the appointed guild will try to deliver a caravan from Vienta Village to Stoneguard Castle. One member is named the Tax Delivery Golem, and they get special abilities when they play this role. If the guild makes a successful delivery, they'll get Lucent and Sollant. If attackers stop them, the rewards instead go to the participants outside of the First Defenders’ Alliance.
The Siege itself will begin on November 17th and guilds will have 45 minutes to work together and claim victory. you'll storm the castle, breach the gates, and try to capture the throne inside. When the siege begins, defenders will be transported inside the castle with the task of holding their ground. Siege ruins will be important and if you capture them you'll get teleportation options and resurrection points.
The attacking guilds can also begin summoning Siege Golems from these points. they have special abilities and specializations, things like crashing through walls, serving as a battle carrier to get your forces up high quickly, over walls, and more
If the timer runs out and there's still no clear claimant to the throne, things will come down to a 3-minute overtime.
The throne is the convergence point for everyone, but pay attention to the battlefield because Pillage stones and Resurrection stones that are scattered around offer some advantages. Pillage stones will let you get Lucent and Sollant from the castle coffers, no matter who ultimately wins.
