At Summer Game Fest, NCSoft and Amazon Game Studios showed off a brand new look at Throne and Liberty.
This is our first big look in English at the game since the global publishing announcement,with Amazon Game Studios bringing the game to the West. The new trailer is full of larger than life creatures, a look at the different kinds of terrain, and a narration that emphasizes that there is a great threat to the world and of course, it's up to you to help end it.
Also on display in the trailer are ways to use the environment to help you in battle, and the ability to transform into animals. Movement looks like it will be key to the strategies you’ll need to come up with.
The trailer featured the tagline, ”The Storm is Coming”, to give an idea of what we might expect in NCSOFT’s open-world MMORPG. If you've been a fan of NCSOFT games before, then large scale battles, adaptation, and more should be familiar.
Shortly after the premiere, the team shared the trailer on Twitter, with:
“Welcome to THRONE AND LIBERTY a free-to-play MMORPG that takes place in a vast open world!
There is no single path to victory. Adapt your fight through strategic decisions in PvP and PvE as you encounter evolving battlefields!”
