Throne and Liberty may be getting another global technical test soon, if some new speculation based on a Steam update turns out to be correct.
A report comes from fan site ThroneandLiberty.online and cites a recent update (with screenshot) over from SteamDB, noting an update to the Throne and Liberty Technical Test application. There are no other details or any official word, but an update was made yesterday to this application. Now, this doesn’t mean anything is actually happening, but the last time Amazon held a global technical test last fall, and it is details like this that would need to be updated before a new test could take place.
So, it’s just one update to consider, but with those months away, the game officially released in Korea, and the NCSoft team is holding massive sieges and making adjustments and changes to support the Korean release. The time since Amazon’s last test could be just the breathing room that NCSoft needed to move ahead with more work on the upcoming global release.
Back in October, after the test concluded, Franchise Lead Merv Lee Kwai shared a note about the test, along with some stats, and promised more testing to come. “We’re excited to share a glimpse into more changes as a direct result of feedback in future tests and look forward to welcoming more players into Solisium”.
Of course, nothing has been announced or confirmed, but perhaps we’ll see just what Amazon may or may not announce soon.
