Throne and Liberty will be out on October 1st, and Amazon is ramping up promotion with the upcoming Siege the Day event.
The two-day competition will take place on September 24th and 25th and will feature a number of content creators from North American and European guilds in a number of challenges. Expect 3v3 arenas, conquest battles, and a siege to claim Stoneguard Castle. Throne and Liberty’s castle sieges have been one of the standout features, along with its number of animal morphs that let you employ a number of different strategies to suit your build. Imagine using a flying morph or taking advantage of chaos to stealth or even to transform into a golem to apply brute force and make a more direct entrance.
There will be a different Conquest battle on each day of the event, with day one featuring Battle of the Boonstone and day two featuring Battle to the Riftstone. The title stones are in play, and your guild will have to capture them and be the last ones standing if you want victory and loot.
On September 24th, at 2 pm PT, the North American version will happen. The European competition takes place on Sunday, September 25th at 10 am PT/ 5pm UTC. The dev team will Also broadcast a series of previews and interviews that will take us into some of the strategies, and things to know about Throne and Liberty before launch.
To sweeten the deal, there will be Twitch Drops to walk away with for tuning in to the creators’ streams or the Amazon Games Twitch channel. Log 90 minutes of cumulative watch time on each day for all rewards: Siege the Day Title, the Great-Fanged Figmen Amitoi, and the Caerulean Cygnus Morph.
Amazon will announce guilds and creators closer to the event.
