Full details are out for Throne and Liberty’s server consolidation process, which will roll out over three phases starting on February 6th. Now the full list of affected servers is out, and it will effectively collapse 107 servers into 25 across five regions.
Given how massive these changes are, you're likely to be affected one way or another if you play Throne and Liberty (other than PlayStation 5-only servers). In the North America East region, 25 servers will become five. For NA West, 12 servers will become three. South America will see 15 servers become three. Europe Central sees 21 servers become eight. Finally, in Asia Pacific Northeast, 10 servers will become three.
The team made a point to state that this is a consolidation effort to bolster populations and not just server merges where things just fold into another.
Things start kicking off on February 6th where all regional auction houses will be consolidated between early access and full launch servers. Afterwards, there will be a single combined action house for each region. Platform-specific servers will still have separate auction houses. So again, PlayStation 5 players are not affected.
On February 13th, there will be one free server transfer available for every player if you want to transfer over to eligible servers. Early access and launch servers will no longer have any distinction, and content unlocks will roll out at the same times across a region. This will give you a chance to decide on which server you might want to move to. There will be a two-week. to decide, with all transfer cooldowns reset. If a character is still on one of the servers to be consolidated, they'll be automatically moved over.
To compensate for all the disruption, there will be a series of bonuses as well as login rewards. from February 13th through the 27th, there will be new check-in Rewards including a new title, Star-traveler, and a new Amitoi, Brawler Captain Dentwerp. List of login rewards has also just been revealed.
Certain things will also have to be reset when the process happens. Checking out all of the things that will be reset versus what will remain is a good idea.
