Throne & Liberty's global launch has been delayed slightly, moving to an October 1st launch for NCSOFT's MMO.

Initially slated to release on September 17th, the global launch has been pushed back a few weeks to give the team more time to incorporate feedback from the recent open beta. Now Throne & Liberty will launch on October 1st, with its headstart Early Access period beginning on September 26th.

"Our team began work after the Open Beta, but fully implementing community feedback and integrating new systems will take additional time," the team said in a post on the Throne and Liberty website. "To give our team the time needed to incorporate the most critical pieces of feedback and systems, we have decided to move the THRONE AND LIBERTY launch to October 1, 2024, with Early Access starting on September 26, 2024. Below you dive into the specifics of the updates we’re implementing to ensure THRONE AND LIBERTY provides the best player experience possible at launch."

As far as what those changes are, the news post dives deeper into what feedback is necessitating the delay. This includes improving the combat camera controls, making changes to when players earn certain skills to help build out their characters better earlier on, as well as adjusting the sheer amount of systems you encounter in those early stages.

Throne & Liberty is also adding some new features as it heads into its new launch date, namely new skill specializations for the global release, new fishing and cooking lifeskills, and more.

We had a chance to chat with the development team on Throne & Liberty back at Summer Game Fest, exploring some of the inspirations behind the MMO, as well as going hands-on with the global version.
