Destiny 2 developer Bungie has divulged what's to come in the next few weeks, giving insight on Act II of Echoes, an Artist of the Week contest, and more to look forward to.
Act II of Echoes is set to begin July 16th, when we learn that something is not quite right with the Vex on Nessus. To ensure that all of us are prepared for what's to come in Act II, the devs will be hosting a Developer Livestream before launch to give a heads-up and sneak peek at the upcoming content.
There is a special contest for Artists and Destiny fans to celebrate the middle of the first episode and the conclusion of the first Act. This special art contest tasks artists and fans to embody their favorite moment during Echoes: Act 1 and turn it into a work of art. When posting their works, Bungie asks that contestants use #EchoesAOTW so they can find their work and decide which one makes the cut for Artist of the Week. The winners will be included in future This Week in Destiny updates and will earn the regular AOTW emblem and the new Photoionization emblem.
