The Fury Incarnate update for World of Warcraft is coming on September 5th. Blizzard has just released the update notes with all the content coming in the update, from new Dragonflight campaign chapters, the new public event, Dreamsurge, the arrival of Heroic Dawn of the Infinite split into two dungeons, new achievements, and a mysterious new character.

Dragonflight’s story continues with the new campaign chapters. The Incarnates are meeting up, and they have some mysterious plans to uncover. Additional quests will include “No Limits”, where Chromie attempts toBroker a truce between the bronze dragonflight and one of its enemies, “leading Nozdormu on an unexpected adventure”. “Reforging Tyr Part 3” is also coming, and you can do it following “No Limits”. There’s more story to explore with the new update, and it all ties into the new world event and dungeon too.

Each week, one of the four original zones in the Dragon Isles will be under the effect of a Dreamsurge. This means in that zone, every 30 minutes, a Major Waking Dream portal will spawn, sending Druids of the Flame out to work in groups to defeat. This means fighting on the ground, but also via dragonriding. There will also be Minor Waking Dream portals around the zone, which can be done by smaller groups and even solo. More, players will get to vote on the bonus the zone will offer when the next Dreamsurge spawns.

Dawn of the Infinite makes its launch as two dungeons after debuting as a Mythic+ only mega-dungeon with eight bosses. This time, you can take on each four-boss dungeon in Heroic or even Mythic.

One of the more enigmatic surprises found in the notes is this: “On September 12, follow Velen’s prophecy to reveal a new future for some of the draenei people”. Hmm.

There are balance changes for a number of classes, 120 new profession achievements, and new items Those include hundreds of zone drops and rare spawn drops that have been restored to availability.

The update will also introduce a new ping system that lets you communicate with your team more easily without needing to use voice or text chat. This will let you send a quick status and will also work as an accessibility option. The update also introduces a real-time chat moderation option. Whispers from non-friends that the system detects might be harassing will come with a prompt that you can choose to see the message or not. If you do read the message, there will be an easy way to report the player if indeed it is an offensive message.
