Continuing the run of Halloween events is The Elder Scrolls Online, which announced the dates for The Witches Festival for this year. The event will run October 21-November 2 and feature some fun adventure and prizes, including new rewards.

To get started, grab The Witchmother's Bargain quest from the Crown Store. Those who've done this in previous years won't need to repeat it. Your key to the fun is the Witchmother's Whistle, which you'll use for a 100% XP buff lasting two hours, another option to keep training up before Deadlands launches. If you get to use the Witchmother's Cauldron, then it will transform your character into an undead.

If that wasn't enough to get you into the mood, there are additional Plunder Skull containers mixed with the usual rewards when you defeat bosses. The first time you defeat each boss, however, you'll get a Dremora Plunder Skull container. From all of these containers during the limited time event you can get items like Witches Festival recipes, furniture and furniture recipes, Alchemy reagents, and more. New for this year's festival is a pet called Bonedust Pigments, a Witch-Tamed bear dog that you can craft by combining 10 fragments you get from the Plunder Skull loot.

From Dremora Plunder Skull containers, you can get those items plus have a chance to get Witches Festival Writs, which you can use to unlock an Achievement for the witch hat and Witch title, outfit and weapon style pages, and two new Runeboxes this year.

There's a new daily quest called Plucking the Crow, and completing this will need 50 Cursed Feathers, which you can get from Plunder Skull containers, so this event will see you taking down a lot of monsters and bosses if you want to grab the new and returning loot. If you do complete this quest, you'll transform and be able to take on a brand new world boss.

For the full details on the event, including quests, tickets, and how this ties into collecting fragments for a new Q4 morphing collectible, check out the full event announcement here.
