It looks Celtic RPG The Waylanders is heading to GOG’s Games In Development program on July 27.
The move follows the game’s launch on Steam Early Access earlier. In case you missed it, check out our impressions. he Waylanders on GOG will be priced at $34.99 USD for the duration of the Games in Development program and launches with a temporary discount of 10%.
The Waylanders in Games in Development contains approximately 10 to 12 hours of the planned 30 to 40-hour adventure, allowing players to discover the opening Celtic Age portion of the story. While in development, players can explore more than 8 unique locations with over 40 maps to visit, and meet the 9 companions they’ll travel beside over the course of the adventure.
Additionally, according to the accompanying press release, it will be English-only with support for additional language (like Spanish, Galician, French, German, Simplified Chinese, Russian) arriving in the future.
Also set to arrive in future updates are features like loyalty quests, crafting equipment improvements, and advanced classes. The team will share a more robust roadmap later, but for now, check out the Early Access roadmap below.
