Celtic RPG, The Waylanders, was scheduled to GOG’s Games in Development Program. Well, it’s just done exactly that.
This version of The Waylanders is set to contain about 10 to 12 hours of the planned 30 to 40-hour adventure exploring Celtic mythology from Spain and surrounding regions. Regarding updates, they will be planned to be released to both GOG and Steam simultaneously with content additions and gameplay improvements released on a two-week update cadence through summer.
As of right now in the development phase of proceedings, the game will only support English. Plans for Spanish, Galician, French, German, Simplified Chinese, Russian will be included in future updates closer to launch.
As announced on July 21, Kickstarter backers of The Waylanders will be receiving GOG Games In Development codes in addition to their Steam Early Access keys so they can play on their preferred PC platform.
