DC Universe Online’s Update 135 is now live, adding new feats with The Tides of War Summer Seasonal Event, new emotes, quality of life changes, and completing the name reclaim.

The update begins The Tides of War. Ocean Master, Aquaman's half-brother, is scheming along with some Atlanteans to take the throne from King Arthur. The Civil War has reached Metropolis and you will be able to check events in the On-duty menu to battle for the Atlantean Outpost, or take part in open world content Summer Seasonal: Ocean Master. For your trouble you can unlock several new Feats: Handheld Celebration, Tropical Gumshoe, Vacation Ready, and Surf and Turf. The summer event also adds new base items, casual beachwear to acquire, and new Chromas.

There's a free gift pack for all to celebrate Pride Month, featuring a number of flags and cosmetics.

There are also new emotes with this update that you can get from Plastic Man In The House of Legends and from the marketplace. Now you can have the option of  new emotes including table flip, death metal, and casual selfie. The emotes menu also gets a fix to display the category and slash command for each emote for easier use.

This update also overhauls Feats throughout the game. They have “been reorganized and rewritten to make feat-hunting that much more intuitive, fun, and easy! In addition, a new hotkey has been added to open the Feats menu”.

DC Universe Online  also fixes a number of issues with this update, including for Ally Poison Ivy for abilities that weren't working correctly, a vendor issue, and UI keybinding bugs. There are performance improvements, including prioritizing bosses to load faster compared to other characters when areas are crowded, and a crash fix and increased stability on PSN.

Before this update, the team had announced that a name reclaim would come with the next major update. This update has now arrived and those inactive characters who were not logged in before the deadline last month find themselves in need of a new name. Of course, this frees up some names to try your luck to snag.
