It’s only fitting that the greatest super-planet in the galaxy, or perhaps the universe, should have its own anthem. Helldivers 2 has introduced the Super Earth National Anthem, along with the rest of the soundtrack now streaming on most platforms.
The anthem was already teased through in-game televisions for a bit; now, we can hear the song in its full glory, along with a music video featuring a bit of the orchestra behind it. Arrowhead Games' release of the full soundtrack also means that anytime you’re feeling bold, brave, and ready to dedicate the ultimate sacrifice for the fight against those gods-awful alien races, you can turn on one of the game’s many motivating tracks.
This soundtrack drop and anthem comes at a good time for the Starship Troopers-inspired sci-fi co-op mission shooter overall. Helldivers 2 is trying to have a comeback with a series of updates that are meant to make the game more approachable again for players, after months of complaints from its otherwise-dedicated playerbase.
