The Sims 4 is referencing Final Fantasy XIV yet again with a nod to the Crystal Exarch a beloved character from FFXIV’s Shadowbringers expansion.
The reference appears in the description of the Spire-Shaped Gemstone, a new item included in The Sims 4’s latest Crystal Creations Stuff Pack. The description reads, “Your own mini crystal tower than an exarch would be proud of.”
FFXIV features a crystal tower as the central focus of the game’s 24-man Alliance Raids.
This isn’t the first time The Sims 4 has referenced FFXIV, either. Previously, the game’s Werewolves pack included an item with the name “Racked Teak-a-Greatshelves,” a reference to the Rak’tika Greatwood, one of the zones in Shadowbringers. Clearly, The Sims 4 team are big fans of the game and expansion.
