If you thought that November bringing the second milestone in the latest Neverwinter Echoes of Prophecy update was only the beginning, then you’re right. The Siege of Neverwinter event is back and is opening up this week.

The Cult of the Dragon is back and it’s time to get out there and take them on. The Siege of Neverwinter event will start this Thursday, November 11th at 7:30 AM Pacific and will close on December 2. So If you are looking to try and save Neverwinter as well as grab some rewards, then you should get ready to battle some cultists, and maybe some dragons.

There are four paths to challenge yourself. Take on the cult invasion, where they’re attacking the city and you can work to protect the workers and help with the barricades to push the cult forces back. If you take on the Cult Warband, you’ll be on the battlefield, pushing back the waves of cult marauders. Counterattack lets you charge right into battle against the cult if you think you can take on their forces. Finally, Dragon Attack is just what it sounds like. There are dragons outside the city walls and it’s up to you to go take on the mighty beasts.

For your work, of course there will be a series of rewards. If you complete the daily quest 14 times during the event you’ll get a token of achievement that you can use in the store to get a mount. If you continue for more than 14 days, you’ll earn challenge tokens for a different series of rewards. Finally, there are participation tokens just for taking part, good for rewards at a lower level.

For the full rundown of the event, including how rewards will work, and some of what’s up for grabs, see the announcement of the new iteration of Siege of Neverwinter on the Neverwinter site.
