The Siege of Neverwinter is back this week, with the Cult of the Dragon gathering their forces and attempting to take the city of Neverwinter down.
The returning Appointment event lasts for 21 days and offers the opportunity to earn a special event currency that you can pool and use for rewards at the Appointment event vendor. This time, the siege starts on February 29th at 7:30 AM PT and runs through March 21st at 7:30 AM PT. Earn yourself some Tokens of Participation, Tokens of Challenge, and Tokens of Achievement by doing daily and weekly quests, participating past 14 days, and more.
The Siege of Neverwinter became an Appointment event back in 2021, so while many have taken part in the event under this designation, it’s still new enough that some could’ve missed it.
So if you’re looking to get your defenses on, your chance is almost here. The Cult Invasion lets you help out by protecting the workers that are working to repair damage to the city barricades that the Cult has breached. Cult Warband involves a number of warriors around the battlefield looking to ambush defenders. This is where you come in to try and help push back their armies. Counter Attack is another option to take up, suitable for those who want to take a more aggressive approach against the Cult forces.
Cult Catapult Is another option, where the Cult of the Dragon’s Siege engines are trying to destroy the walls around the city of Neverwinter with boulders. So again, this is where you come in to stop them. And you do that by destroying the catapults they're using. Finally, Dragon Attack is a centerpiece. The Cult of the Dragon will be using dragons, and outside the city walls, it's your chance to fight back.
These are your options to log activities and claim your tokens each day for eventual rewards. And if you’ve already been banking Appointment event tokens, you may be able to get some big ones.
Among the Siege of Neverwinter rewards are the Neverwinter Defender’s Pack, the Siegebreaker Griffon mount, and more.
