The Kickstarter campaign for The Secret World for Savage Worlds, a TTRPG, that is the continuation of another MMO titled The Secret Worlds Legends, has hit its goal in just a matter of days.

It seems fans are eager to dive into the new world of The Secret World as the campaign gained traction very rapidly once it launched. The upcoming TTRPG might be known to some, as the predecessor The Secret World Legends is an MMORPG that was created back in July of 2012, with an original Kickstarter for a Secret World TTRPG that funded in November 2022 on Kickstarter.

Setting a goal of $10,000 under the All or Nothing category, the creators of the TTRPG will have no worries in terms of funding or reaching their goal, as they surpassed the original goal by over $10,000. The pledges have now reached $21,163 since the Kickstarter launched just two days ago, and those who pledged will be getting a few nice rewards for doing so.

The Secret World will consist of over 220 pages and house eight chapters, each allowing for different games to be played and “stories to be told” according to the creators at Star Anvil Studio. There are several character options to choose from, as there are three factions that include the Dragon, the Illuminati, and the Templar, all coming with new edges, hindrances, and powers to make the character truly your own.

There are also new Arcane Backgrounds known as Conduits that allow your characters to swap abilities on demand. This means that you can “respec” your character during a game in order to master new abilities. Of course with heroes, there have to be villains, and in this TTRPG there are plenty of threats for players to face. One of these are Revenants, who are extremely dangerous undead creatures that pose a great challenge for the players to conquer, and only by making it through the TTRPG will you uncover more enemies to take on during the playthrough.
