The next pre-alpha test for Into the Echo is coming. Etlok Studios’ time-travel MMORPG is heading into its second pre-alpha test from March 5-7th, with 1,000 invited players set to start receiving invites soon.

This test is the first since Etlok revealed more details about the game, its lore, and some of what we can expect from the gameplay in a recent interview. Into the Echo is set in a world where there are multiple Echoes, where players will be able to set foot in other times at that location and witness what happened there. This concept will shape your characters as well as the challenges you face. Each Echo has Guardians you have to deal with in one way or another, and whatever Echoes you visit and however your journey is shaped, will be your own.

Now that a new pre-alpha round is coming, the team also released some concept art called Snake Pond. This concept art takes us into some hills, within which are carved entrances to what look like caves, covered in moss and vegetation. A towering statue of a snake arises from the center, its giant stone tail curled around as a base as the hooded snake rises from the pond. There are hints of water and some other, colored plant life. Following the concept art release, the team also released a sketch of the overall Snake Pond on Twitter.

For those who are interested in the alpha test, you can register on the Into the Echo site. While this test will be limited to 1,000 players over the coming alpha weekend, if you don't get an invitation to this one, Etlok plans to grow each round of testing going forward. For those who signed up and will receive an invite, the emails will be going out in the next few weeks according to an official update on Discord.
