Today, Black Desert Console brings the new, hammer-wielding Scholar class to players, along with some special events and bonuses to mark the 4th console anniversary. Pearl Abyss has also released a new infographic with stats like deadliest monster, the most defeated Black Shrine boss, and more.
The Scholar is here, after previously debuting in Black Desert Online PC. The devs credit that release for some of the valuable feedback from the community that means this new 27th class has been improved in time for her release on console. The Scholar uses two hammer types, Hammers and Gravity Cores, in order to manipulate and use gravity to confound enemies and keep them off guard. Some of the improvements that have already been done in time for her console release include faster animations, smoother movement, an expanded number of combo options, and better mobility.
Black Desert Console is marking the 4th anniversary of its release with events and bonuses, along with a new infographic full of new console stats, some split into regional numbers. There are 117 NA players, 53 EU, and 122 AS who have reached 30,000 hours of playtime. There are also 20 players who own all three Mythical Horses. When it comes to loot, Mirumok Ruins is the most rewarding location, if you’re judging on where everyone has gotten the most loot in total. Of course, the item cited is Degraded Wood Fragment, so don’t head over there looking for riches.
The Black Shrine bosses from Land of the Morning Light, also get special mention. The deadliest boss to face? Songakshi. The most defeated? Bamboo Legion Lieutenant.
The 4th console anniversary is here, and bonuses and events include a special 400% Hot Time event, Special Title event, and special login campaigns. The Scholar Level-Up Challenge event is also debuting to help you get started on a progression journey with the brand new class.
