The Quinfall is being developed by Vawraek Technology, a Turkish Technology company and Studio. The game is set in a war-ridden and chaos-stricken land, where players will be able to choose to take part in both PvE and PvP encounters. At the time of this article, the development team believes that their regional server size should be able to exceed 12 thousand players per server on launch, which they base off of their previous game Kayra Online, which is no longer running, and most of their social media has been abandoned. Kayra Online was also built with Unity, which begs the question if The Quinfall will make use of some of the assets from their previous title, seeing as how they are utilizing the same engine.
The Quinfall plans to do away with classes in favor of a more skill and weapon-based system and at least some of the ideologies behind Kayra Online has found its way to The Quinfall as the team has decidedly chosen a no “Pay to Win” approach. In addition, the team plans for the game to be Buy to Play after the closed beta concludes. Since we last reported on The Quinfall, the developers have been steadily building a following, with their Twitter account now boasting over 1,700 followers and growing.
You can find out more about The Quinfall through their official Discord channel, where they posted a lengthy FAQ that provides some additional information about the game. You can also peruse their Steam page, which currently shows a release of Q4 2023, pointing to the possibility that the team may simply release the game into Early Access post-beta. We hope to see more about The Quinfall later this year, as they gear up for their Closed Beta.
