The Outlast Trials' Latest Update Lets Players Slip Out From Under Surveillance

Players who truly Outlast-ed the Trials of Sinyala Facility have a chance to get the heck out. The last before Season 3’s launch, today's update of The Outlast Trials brings a grand escape scenario to the co-op horror game—and the fniale of the Rebirth function (possibly for now). 

In the new scenario, Amelia finds an opportunity for players to slip out of the Sinyala Facility where our protagonists have been undergoing experiments. However, the big cheese, Murkoff, has increased his surveillance, and the groups of up to four Reagent escapees will have to keep an eye out. 

Speaking of surveillance, a limited-time “Under Surveillance II” event also launches with this update, urging players to find escape plans, watch Amelia’s hidden Escape message, and help her get out. 

With the end of this update and the arrival of Season 3, too, the Outlast Trials team will suspend the Reborn function, but they’re giving players one last chance to give it a whirl. Players who become Reborn will get Legendary Item, plus other smaller prizes. 

The update goes live today, including other balancing changes and general fixes, with its limited-time items lasting until the Season 3 update on April 22.
