Be prepared for the cold and harsh terrain of the newest region coming to Black Desert Online when the new expansion Mountain of Eternal Winter arrives in April. Pearl Abyss has released a new trailer along with a few details, promising more info next month.
The new region will come with its own addition to the lore of Black Desert, and the teaser shows off the cold mountain and some hints at what’s to come. The game now also has a mini-site dedicated to the new expansion and comes with some art along with this hint:
“O warrior who shall rise above the six witch trials to stand atop the frosty peaks,
Come to the Haven of Slumbering Origin at the Mountain of Eternal Winter…”
The expansion will bring a new region and will be available to all players. Previously released details from the original announcement of the new content on the way includes that there will be new monsters, significant new quest content, new weapons, and more. Among these additions are activities like ice fishing and snowboarding.
We’ll have to wait until March 10th for the first major content reveal, but the teases and release window are now setting the stage for the future of the game. In two weeks, we’ll have a much better idea what to expect and maybe even get a look at the region and those new activities.
If you’re a Black Desert Online player looking to earn some rewards and mark the game’s 6th anniversary, there’s also a new login campaign beginning tomorrow. There are 21 days of rewards to earn with level 7+ characters just for logging into the game and collecting the rewards. Playing on the weekend for an hour also earns you bonuses.
