The Moogle Treasure Trove is back in Final Fantasy XIV. The event is refreshed with new rewards and objectives to challenge in order to earn yourself some goodies.

If you’ve participated in past events, you should be familiar with the objectives you need to collect some Irregular Tomestones of Mendacity. Complete duties that have a Moogle icon next to them to earn some stones for completion. The different activities, including raids, PvP, and dungeons,  will award different amounts of stones, so if you’re eyeing any particular loot, you’ll get to plan out just what activities you’ll need to complete in order to get what you want.

As for those rewards, you must find an Itinerant Moogle to exchange your stones for goods. The event will begin next week, on April 24th, but you'll be able to exchange items until the release of Patch 6.5.

The tasks rewarding the most stones–seven–are the Tower at Paradigm’s Breach level 80 raid and the Praetorium level 50 dungeon. For six stones, you have just one option, the level 80 raid, The Puppet’s Bunker. The Copied Factory level 80 raid is what you can complete for five stones. Finally, some will reward three or five stones, some will consistently reward you with four stones, and there are a number of events that will award three or two stones. There are a number of options to rack up the stones depending on how much time you have and what level you are, in addition to just what you know you can complete.

One thing to keep in mind is that you will not be able to earn any stones if you are using adventurer squadrons or Duty Support. This is a group event, clearly.

The rewards include a number of maps, gear, including Bonewicca pieces, furnishing pieces, Manderville Gold Saucer cards good for points, Uniques, orchestrion rolls, a new hairstyle option, and some cute Porxie earrings.

Read the announcement over at Final Fantasy XIV for full details on acquiring stones and rewards.
