Before the Shadow, which recently went up for preorder in several different options from standard to a collector’s edition, is designed with questing content aimed at levels 1 to 32. There are also four new Books for new characters and a new Delving system that will let higher-level characters take part in the new content at greater difficulty for appropriate rewards.
The mini expansion will have you learn more about the One Ring and travel along with Boromir to Rivendell, encountering the Witch-King and Nazgul, and other early-in the saga content.
