The Joyous Journeys buff is back in World of Warcraft Classic for a limited time. If you're starting the new year with a new character and want to get them to 85 quicker, or need to finish leveling another character you haven't touched in a while, now's your chance.

The bonus is live now and offers a 50% bonus to XP gain. In Cataclysm Classic, The bonus will apply by default so if you create a new character or you log in and start playing one you haven't finished leveling yet, you'll enjoy the bonuses. However, if you don't want the bonus, you can actually visit an Innkeeper in a capital city to turn it off or even to turn it back on again. Maybe you just don't want the extra help or you want to slow down your leveling a little bit.

Although the Joyous Journeys buff pops up from time to time in various ways in WoW, this time around, it is limited to Cataclysm Classic. Maybe things have slowed down a bit, but it is another good way to get those characters up to 85 and geared up because the bonus will last only until the next major Cataclysm Classic update is here.

While there is no bonus, there’s still much happening in World of Warcraft Classic. Season of Discovery Phase 7 will go live on January 28th. The WoW Classic 20th anniversary edition Phase 2 Battlegrounds have just been released for some PvP mayhem and glory.
