It’s looking like the Japan team in charge of development, servers, and publishing for ROSE Online have filed for bankruptcy.
Formed in 2013 to create content specifically for the Japanese audience on a Japan server, ROSE Online Japan has now filed for bankruptcy. It seems they have a debt estimated at $4 million USD with 46 creditors.
According to the site, the team had suspended several employees in late 2019 with unpaid salaries. But the information at the time stated that ROSE Online Japan would still continue to create and publish content for the Japanese version of ROSE Online. Now, it seems, they have filed for bankruptcy.
There doesn’t appear to be an English server. Despite this, it looks like a few new dungeons in addition to a 15th Anniversary update in July are still in development.
