Battlestate Games has revealed extensive new information about the Hideout, a player's personalized space in the world. This new feature will be added in time for the open beta that is currently scheduled to kick off this fall.
Getting out of Tarkov is an involved process that will require time to accomplish. Escapees need a place to unwind, regain health and strength, somewhere to hide supplies and to store weapons. Over time, players customize an abandoned bomb shelter to provide functionality and survivability. Over time, things like a power generator, a water collection system, a generator, bathroom, ventilation system and more will need to be added. A recon center allows players to work with merchants and more.
According to Battlestate, thirteen different modules can be added to the Hideout, each with its own bonuses and resources as well as skill level to construct.
In addition to the basic modules of ‘The Hideout’, players can install elite modules that drastically improve living standards and security, accelerate skills leveling, allow production of unique items and resources, and add comfort to your new home. There also is a full-fledged shooting range where players can test their weapons.
