With 10.2, Guardians of the Dream set to add new content to Dragonflight, Blizzard has released the update notes ahead of World of Warcraft’s next big update.

The Emerald Dream is the new zone, and the team has also released a new preview to prepare everyone to enter–and defend–this lush zone that is full of importance and legends. Meet the Dream Wardens, the newest faction through which you’ll be able to complete tasks and earn Renown. Through this process, you can get new weapon transmogs. There are other peoples, including the keepers of the grove, the Dryads, Moonkin, Wild Gods, and creatures to meet.

There are several new campaign chapters, starting with Enter the Dream, featuring Fyrakk’s invasion of The Emerald Dream. Later in the month, Reforging Tyr part 4 unlocks, and on November 14 th, welcome the misfit dragons questline.

New public events are coming, with the main event, Superbloom, and the Emerald Bounty. Protect the World Tree, nourish it, plant saplings, and more in these events. Through them, you’ll earn some new rewards too.

Dragonflight Season 3 also opens up after the update goes live, with a new raid, Amirdrassil, the Dream's Hope. Face nine bosses, including the centerpiece showdown with Fyrakk the Blazing, when you work to forcefully stop his plans. There will be new rewards, including the legendary Fyr’alath, the Dream Render two-handed axe for Death Knight and Warrior, new dragonriding mounts, and a reusable helm enchantment via a quest you’ll find inside. Oh, and new shiny Dream’s Hope class armor sets.

There are new dragonriding races on the way, new appearances, and new glyphs too.

Not everything is flashy and big and shiny. One of the changes that the team is making is to reduce the effectiveness of mana restoration class abilities and items and in a way are particularly targeting healers to be more strategic with choices and with mana management. The item changes are also going to take effect, including the availability of the Revival catalyst now only gaining a charge every two weeks instead of weekly, adjustments to Aberrus trinkets, and the previously announced expansion to the universal upgrade system.

There's a lot more on the way, including extending the Arena map pools, new wild pets to collect in the Emerald Dream, and a number of accessibility and general player experience updates.  Blood Elf and Druid players get new customization options too.
