Now that Update 44 is out on all platforms, The Elder Scrolls Online is ready to start the first Golden Pursuits campaign. Details on this new system and loot arer in a new dev update.
Golden Pursuits is the new task-based activity system for all players. The first campaign begins today and runs through November 25th. The mechanics should be simple to anyone who plays a game that has a mission based or battle pass type system where you simply complete tasks and play the game and earn yourself some extra loot in the process. While the new developer update doesn't list out the particular activities for this first campaign, you'll be able to find them out just by logging in and seeing what's available. The possibilities include all kinds of in-game activities, and the announcement also lists featured activities like visiting player homes, completing dungeons, and more to choose from.
If you complete enough tasks to earn the two featured rewards of this first campaign, you'll get yourself the Adventure-Ending Arrow adornment, for those fond well-memed adventurer memories, and the 10-Year Anniversary Nord Hero costume. These are the two featured rewards, but if you complete tasks you'll be able to also get a number of new rewards as you go along. You have one week to get out there and earn some goodies.
This new campaign also coincides with the brand new Legacy of the Bretons in-game event for certain DLC owners. So, your efforts may just count for double the rewards if you decide to complete your dungeon task in, say, Lost Depths.
