The First Descendant will get its first new Descendant, Hailey, a sniper the ability to lower her body temperature and release cold air. This makes her virtually undetectable. She’s a long-range option armed with an anti-material sniper rifle, with sub-zero bullets and a storm snare.
A second new addition will follow, the Ultimate Descendant, Freyna. She arrives with the Room Zero Trauma skill, and you'll learn more about what this is and how it works in her new story mission.
Inversion Reinforcement is the new season Growth. Set off by encountering the Iron Heart, this process lets Descendants gain new incremental powers as you progress through the season.
The Invasion Dungeon will occur randomly into dungeons of hard difficulty infiltration operations. when it happens you'll be given a choice between the existing operation or take on the invasions. Nexon cites the pace of these dungeons as being ideal for speedrunners or those who really want to challenge themselves, since the faster you clear the invasion, the better the rewards will be.
Death Stalker is the new Void Intercept Boss Battle, and this will require some work. Uncover what's in the darkness, intercept the boss, and face its attacks that are rooted in horror and laced with venom.
There are two Ultimate weapons on the way as well. The Frost Watcher is a scout rifle that will work great when Hailey uses it. The weapon itself reduces chill resistance and enhances damage if you are using chilling skills. You can get this by playing through some of the seasonal content. The second weapon, Excava, Combines an assault rifle with a Charged shot. charge voltage when you attack enemies and then you can channel that charge into a precise energy grenade. This is a Battle Pass reward, including on the free pass.
Nexon will start detailing more soon as we get closer to the season rollout but they promise that there's a lot more in Season 1.
