The First Descendant NieR: Automata Collaboration Announced

NEXON Games shared information about content that will appear in the third season of The First Descendant, which includes a NieR: Automata collaboration. More information on the collaboration will be shared sometime in the future, alongside a trailer.

Outside of the NieR: Automata collaboration, players can expect the introduction of a vehicle system, a new Colossus Field Raid, and a personalized lounge. Additionally, a new “Ultimate” version of Luna will appear, alongside Nell joining the roster of the game. Story content will also arrive alongside the introduction of Season 3. For those more interested in getting up close and personal with enemies, swords will also be added through the Season 3 update in The First Descendant.

NEXON Games also mentioned that more collaborations with other intellectual properties are also in the works. These have yet to be announced, or seen. So players will have to wait and see what other collaborations could appear, and what they could entail.

Back in April, an Ultimate version of Blaire was added into the game. This version of Blaire featured two skill paths, with an emphasis on high skill play. Outside of that, several quality of life changes have been rolled out.
