Nexon has deployed hotfix 1.0.4 for The First Descendant making a number of improvements and also sharing a preview of the game’s Week 5 Update.
For hotfix 1.0.4, Nexon has boosted the module storage limit from 1000 to 1500, reduced the cooldown for Vulgus Strategic Outpost down to 1 minute from 5 minutes and, adjusted respawn times at the same Outpost, added Void Fragment drops when defeating Special Operation monsters, and added new “Mark For Arrest” consumable drops in Special Operation that can grant up to one million gold.
Nexon has also made adjustments to the “Valby Run” to ensure that it remains a popular hunting ground along with Ambush Point and Refined Run.
Coming up in the game’s Week 5 update, Nexon is adding a new Descendant called Luna to the game that sounds a whole lot like Overwatch’s Lucio as a music themed support character with a sound blaster and everything. The gun boosts allies abilities based on how rhythmically its fired. Luna can also boost her allies skill power by dancing to upbeat music or lower their resource consumption by dancing to more relaxing beats.
There’s plenty more coming in Week 5, including a host of balance adjustments. For more, read the full patch notes here.
