With the Deadlands DLC release fast approaching, The Elder Scrolls Online will also get update 32 in time for its release. This update features two major changes to save you time and effort: the Armory and Curated Item Set drops.

With the new armory system, you won’t have to manually change your gear, your attributes, reset your skill points, or otherwise adjust everything about your character in order to play a different way or help your team out in another role. You’ll be able to save your builds and change them using the free Armory Station from the Crown Store. This gives you two armory slots, but you can buy more if you need them. Customize each build and save it to a slot, changing your attributes, abilities, equipped items, your champion points, outfit, and more.

There’s also an optional armory assistant that you can summon out in the world. His name is Ghrasharog, and if you summon him in the world, he will let you and your party change your builds. This should help teams always have the right balance in reach too.

The other major change will be the Curated Item Set drops. Instead of gear drops from defeated monsters being totally random every time, the system will aim to give you something you don’t already own. What’s more, every subsequent drop from the same monsters, the range will narrow until you get the entire set. They do advise, however, that this new set drop system does not apply to every single gear set in the game. Yet, this coupled with the quick change that build slots offer should streamline many a player's experience.

You can find out more about these changes on this update post. Deadlands will be out on November 1st on PC and November 16th on console.
