As March is coming to a close, The Elder Scrolls Online needs a few good testers ready to jump into the Cyrodiil Champions Vengeance Alliance War campaign test. Plus, there’s a Cyrodiil and PvP themed Golden Pursuits campaign.

The Cyrodiil Champions Vengeance test is a one-week test on PC/Mac for levels 10-50 to help the team to improve performance and stability, as well as proposed changes to Cyrodiil and open-world PvP. This is the test announced previously with special rules. You can only pick from a few standardized builds with only pre-determined abilities and items.  You can't change your class, access the bank, vendors, or crafting nodes. The Champion System is also disabled in this campaign, as are quests.

The main reason for simplification is to test stability and performance under a set of predictable and stable conditions to minimize variables. Future tests  may add different rules and potentially open things up. “The templatizing of characters is an experiment and does not necessarily mean that these changes will be made to the Alliance War in the future”, the team says.

Additionally, it provides a level playing field since the limited options mean everyone is at the same power level and skill counts most. When you exit Vengeance, Alliance Points, Champion points, XP, and gold that you earned within will go with you but any items will not.

There was a previous Q&A both via a stream and via the forums and that has continued to stand for this test so if you have questions, that's a good place to start. The test is open now through March 31st.

The new Cyrodiil Conquest Golden Pursuits campaign is also now live on all platforms through March 31st. You can rack up the Alliance Points and gold  by completing 12 PVP-related activities. Capture some territory, defeat enemies, and more. Complete one activity and get 60,000 AP. Complete four and get 30,000 gold. If you complete 8 out of the 12 activities, you walk away with 240,000 Alliance Points.
