The PTS is now open for The Elder Scrolls Online’s next chapter, the Ascending Tide DLC, part of the year long High Isle storyline this year.
Testing update 7.3.0 will give you a peek at what to expect when the DLC arrives. There are two new dungeons, two brand new item sets, as well as achievement awards for completing these dungeons. Exclusive to the dungeons are two new Undaunted Monster Mask sets while some of the regular awards include body and face markings, two new mementos, some titles, and housing items. The new item sets you can get reflect the upcoming announced changes for gearing that look to make gear more streamlined as well as flexible.
One of the other major changes is that achievements will now be account wide when this update releases. This means most of the achievements that you can obtain on one character will be unlocked on all of your characters once you log in with them. There are some limitations with this but you’ll be able to do things like purchase items for which an achievement is required, and use titles that were earned on a different character. Things that are tracked via achievements like motif crafting knowledge, the lorebooks you’ve read, public dungeon group event achievements and Skyshards obtained will be tracked individually per character.
This very large test update also includes over 40 new achievements and six brand new titles. Among them are titles like Coral Caretaker, which you can get by getting an achievement that requires beating Coral Aerie within 25 minutes on hard mode without any of your group dying. There are new furnishings, new mounts, a new assistant for item deconstruction, and a whole lot more including housing optimizations.
If you want to test out the PTS update for The Elder Scrolls Online, you can find out all the info you need in this announcement post. The cycle will get two templates to try, one at max level 3600CP with all the new item sets and a level 25 template with the usual items on previous templates.
