On April 10th, The Elder Scrolls Online Direct is happening, and the Zenimax team is promising a lot more info on ESO’s new direction and the game’s “bright future”.
Since Matt Firor announced some major changes to the game’s update cadence and even content (this year being the first in a long time without an annual Chapter release, for one), they've shared some of their plans, and promised a lot more would be revealed in April. Well, now we know when.
The Direct will begin on Thursday, April 10th at 3:00 p.m. Eastern with Matt Firor and members of the ESO team Talking about the future of the game, major changes on the way, including what's coming in 2025 and what will be coming beyond. They've already said that this year will be a mix of the old and the new as they move forward with their future plans.
There will be a post show with Gina Bruno and Jessica Folsom to review all of the news, and talk about the major changes, including base game changes that will come starting with update 46.
Watching the Direct and post-show will be rewarding in a couple of ways. First, there are Twitch Drops, including a 150% XP scroll for watching the Direct for 15 minutes. The post-show reward is a Skill Respecification scroll for 30 minutes.
The 10th anniversary continues, and it is a year-long celebration that began last April, so there are still some surprises left. Like the 10-year Anniversary Monkey pet (based on the beta monkey) that you can get via a reward code set to be announced during the stream.
A special collaboration with Kinda Funny is also coming. The four-episode rertrospectiive podcast will debut the day after the Direct.
