The Elder Scrolls Online community has just about 24 hours left to keep hitting milestones in the Heroes of High Isle event to unlock even more time in the next Explorer’s Celebration.
The community has already hit 100% completion for the original goals, unlocking a free copy of the Firesong DLC for all High Isle chapter owners, but there are still potential bonus days ahead. With The Explorer’s Celebration, there are a series of XP bonuses all over Tamriel and almost anything you do will get extra XP, so getting bonus days here would be a good thing.
The bonus challenge involves going around and shutting down High Isle’s volcanic vents. Currently, as of this writing, the bonus challenge completion sits at 58%, which means that there have been two days already unlocked (by hitting 25% on the bonus challenge meter) and the potential to squeeze out two more if they can get the bonus meter up to 50% over the next 24 hours. The bonus challenge ends tomorrow, October 11th, at 10 AM EDT. Two days for the event are unlocked at each 25% level hit, meaning that by getting over 50%, there will be at least four days for this next incarnation of the event.
Hitting 100% of these volcanic vents goals would open up the event to a possible eight days. Last year, the Blackwood bonus challenge did meet its 100% goals, leading to a super-sized event with eight days of bonuses to nearly everything one could do.
The ESO team will update the completion meter throughout the remainder of the event, and once things are final, prepare for the Explorer’s Celebration to follow.
