The Elder Scrolls Online is highlighting its 10th year in operation today with a new trailer at the Xbox Summer Showcase.
The trailer showcased some gameplay from the MMO, highlighting players working together to take down giants, down a tankard of mead at a local tavern, or charge one another in the large-scale PvP battles that rage in Cyrodiil. The trailer is part of the 10th anniversary of the MMO, and the trailer also announced that players can experience its DLC for free for a limited time.
This is good timing because Gold Road, the most recent Chapter Expansion, just launched on PC and Mac last Monday, and console players will get their hands on it on June 18th. The Trial of ESO Plus, Elder Scrolls Online's premium subscription, includes everything aside from Necrom and Gold Road, but that is still a giant chunk of the game for new players to dive into and see if it's worth keeping up with after the trial ends. Also, that crafting bag is worth the price of admission, I'm just saying.
