The Elder Scrolls Online team is prepping for its first big 10th anniversary event in Amsterdam on April 5th. Since not everyone will be able to get to Europe for the event, ZeniMax has announced details on the panels and what will be livestreamed, along with new Twitch Drops.

The event is the first of a few promised anniversary events, but the Amsterdam one is looking to kick things off in a big way. But first, the in-game Anniversary Jubilee returns on April 4th. With the big 10th anniversary, there are a few changes. You won't hvae to keep using cake to get a +100% XP bonus, as it will be in effect throughout the event by default. But you'll have to eat cake daily to get reward tickets to exchange.  There are more ways to get gift boxes this year too, and as a special bonus, some cosmetic rewards that have never been earnable in-game will be available. More details on all of the special anniversary loot is in the event announcement.

The livestream will begin at 5 AM PT/ 8 AM ET with the anniversary keynote from Matt Firor, followed by two more panels. The first is a look ahead, “Traveling Down the Gold Road”, where team members will share what they’re looking forward to in the upcoming Gold Road Chapter release later this year.

The panel description reads “Discover more about West Weald, the new Scribing system, and Ithelia from the perspective of the development team!” and participating devs include Scribing Lead Kira Ross Schlitt, and Zone Lead Ed Stark, along with others to dive into the upcoming release. The second panel, “Origins of The Elder Scrolls Online” will look back, with Matt Firor and Pete Hines, who will “dive deep into ESO’s origins”.

If you tune in, there will be new Twitch Drops. Watch any of the panels for 45 minutes and unlock the Skingrad Noble Snack emote, and if you watch another 30 minutes, you’ll also get a Grand Gold Coast Experience Scroll.

There will be, at some point during the stream, a brand new Gold Road gameplay trailer and an in-depth look at Scribing. The team is teasing other reveals, so we’ll have to stay tuned to see what those might be.
