The Pokemon Go site has been updated with the news that the game's next event, The Eggstravaganza, is ready to roll later today. Beginning at 1:00 pm Pacific / 4:00 pm Eastern and running through April 20th, players will find a "greater variety of Pokemon in 2km eggs". In addition, more Candy will be earned for every egg that hatches.
Lastly, The Eggstravaganza will award double XP that can be stacked with Lucky Eggs (on sale in the shop for the duration) for up to 4x bonus experience.
