The Dwarves Alpha 1 Available to $45+ Backers

Backers who contributed $45+ can now download and play The Dwarves Alpha 1, a portion of the game that includes about two hours of game play. The announcement was made via the game's KickStarter page.

Alpha 1: What can I expect (spoiler-free)?

The Alpha 1 contains the first two hours of the game. It starts with the tutorial, offers a story/exploration segment, some adventures on the world map and finally the first "real battle".

A lot of things in the game are not final or at least not polished yet. It is an early development version, and you shouldn't expect this to be a "marketing beta test" of a final game just for promotion purposes. Currently nothing is set in stone and we're trying out stuff.

If you want to have a smooth, finished game experience, the Alpha 1 isn't what you're looking for. But if you don't mind teething troubles and want to give us feedback, then be our guest!
