Dragonflight is almost here, and the update notes have arrived ahead of Monday’s big launch.
These update notes are as one might expect, covering the massive amount of content and changes everyone can jump into soon. Just like the various previews and teases the World of Warcraft team has been sharing recently, if anything makes the launch of an expansion seem even more real is having all of these details in front of you.
With the level cap rising to 70, the talents and specializations get their huge overhaul. With these past couple of weeks in the pre-patch phase, everyone who has logged in has had a chance to familiarize themselves with just what this new, intentionally flexible, system has to offer.
But first, we have the Dragon Isles, with its four very different zones all affected by the awakening of great elemental power. This is just the beginning, and recent lore about the dragon aspects can only inform about the origins of these places and why they are the way they are today, as the dragonflights return.
Included in the notes is the new questine that will help everyone learn about the pet battle system. Other highlighted features include dragonriding. You may have flown in WoW before. Even had some amazing mounts. Yet, dragonriding is set to be an integral part of this experience, complete with customization options for your own drake, and naturally, exploration.
There are eight dungeons, with four being level-up dungeons and four being max-level dungeons. Each will take you deeper into the ancient secrets of the history here, and of course, give you some new challenges to tackle.
Speaking of challenges, a new season is coming, and the Vault of the Incarnates raid will open the week of December 12th.
You can review the update notes over at World of Warcraft, with expected updates coming when Dragonflight goes live.
