In a tweet thread by Tim Spencer, Level Director at TT Games, he espoused his love for The Division series of games while also proposing a single-player spinoff of sorts.
He suggested the spinoff could focus on, “an agent trying to get home to their family after being sent to NYC, during the SHD blackout from the fall of DC.” He alluded this could be somewhat of a mix of the gameplay of The Last of Us and The Division.
Tim continued that none of the stories thus far in The Division have really explored the sacrifices made by a Division Agent, and what that agent must experience psychologically.
In response, Julian Gerighty, Creative Director at Ubisoft, quoted Tim’s tweet thread and asked the Twitterverse for their collective thoughts. He followed up his tweet slyly, “Apparently not something people are violently against :)”
