In a recent development diary, the team behind Ubisoft’s The Division Resurgence has announced the commencement of the next Regional Beta phase, scheduled to begin on November 16th. This phase is exclusively available to players in the USA, Brazil, and Australia. Those interested in participating can find detailed instructions on how to join in the Regional Beta & VIP access blog post, or continue reading for more information.

In a recent blog post and associated video with community developer James Berry, a long explanation was provided detailing everything that’s changed based on player feedback from the previous beta.

One of the key improvements is the reworked tutorial. Newcomers to The Division Resurgence will now experience a streamlined introduction to the game's mechanics, including movement, shooting, and ability use. This includes an opportunity to test each specialization before embarking on a mission with a seasoned Division Agent, setting the stage for solo or cooperative exploration.

The game's balancing has also been adjusted, affecting progression, the economy, weekly bounties, and power scores. This should help reduce the amount of grind players will have to do to achieve their goals.

New features were also mentioned, such as the Lone Wolf Challenge. In this mode players will battle against progressively difficult levels with a fixed skill cap, offering a better measure of progression and more focused rewards. The Legendary Instance Challenge will present endgame missions with substantial rewards, encouraging team play for success.

Solo players will have their own set of experiences like the Solo Queue Dark Zone. If you’re a fan of the DZ, this will offer you a chance to venture into dangerous territories without the threat of team-based rogue agents. That means that you’ll be facing off against other single agents like yourself. Additionally, the Vanguard specialization has been updated with a "Smart Cover" ability, aimed at enhancing tactical squad play.

A new “Recommended Power Score" has been added for players to determine whether they’ll be in the right place to take on certain challenges, and this is in coordination with a build guide that will help you build a character around the gear score system.

The upcoming test will also feature an armory rework, weapon proficiency tasks, numerous open world improvements that including fast travel and enriched exploration rewards, and a 60 FPS option.

The team has also reworked the Battlepass system to give agents a more rewarding experience, and the Regional Beta Battlepass offers an exotic weapon known as the Warlord Assault Rifle that players will be able to earn while they play. For more information check out the official blog post.

The team at The Division Resurgence is eager to get feedback during their next beta test on November 16th. If you haven’t pre-registered for the game, you can do so at the app stores for Android or iOS. You can also keep your eyes out on November 14th for early regional beta players who will hand out keys on live streams per Ubisoft’s VIP blog post. Stay tuned for more information on the upcoming beta!
