The Daily Quest - What's Your Biggest MMO Pet Peeve?

We love these games. That's why we're hear. But MMOs are far from perfect experiences, and over the years there have been a great many trends that aren't always good for the genre. Today's quest is about that... what's your biggest MMO pet peeve?

Yes, we're asking you to pick just ONE.

Here's my own, to start things off:

LACK OF WORLD INTERACTION

Somewhere along the way, MMORPGs became more about questing and killing than actually manipulating the world around you. When UO came out, there was a relatively unprecedented level of world interaction, because the game was building upon what made games like Ultima VII so great.

Don't get me wrong, as evidenced is yesterday's article, I can appreciate a good theme park. But it's really far too easy to be removed from a game's setting when you realize you can't open a door, pick up a mug, sit in a chair, or so many other little things. Truly, this goes for all games. And no, it's not an easy wrong to right.

But I really am looking forward to one day having an MMORPG that lets me do everything I can or would do in the real world and doesn't limit my surroundings to little more than a soundstage. It'd be nice if the below screen was a place to do things in, and not just a place to log out.
