The Elite: Dangerous Facebook page has been updated with a brief note to let players know that The Commanders update (v2.3) will be ready for deployment by "the weekend ending April 16th". Players can use "Holo-Me" to create their avatars and give themselves a visual representation in the game.
The Commanders is currently on the E:D PTR and gives players an opportunity to create an in-game avatar with a number of customization options within a special UI. There are a number of different hairstyles, hair colors, presets for various facial features and much more for players to choose from.
