It’s finally go time in World of Warcraft Burning Crusade Classic now that phase three is live, and The Black Temple and The Battle For Mount Hyjal are open for the raiding.

While the content was announced recently, and part one of the update already went live, beginning PVP arena season three as well, the two raids at the heart of the update are now ready for all takers. Blizzard released a launch trailer for The Black Temple to bring everyone into a big nostalgic mood. Or maybe those who might be introducing someone to the raid for the first time in Classic, to get a taste of what this meant.

If you’re ready, level 70+, and properly attuned, you can head over on your quest to defeat the nine raid bosses of The Black Temple and emerge victorious. Of course, if you can make it through the previous eight in your way, it will be Illidan Stormrage waiting for you, as the trailer certainly makes clear (if the nostalgia didn’t hit strongly enough already). For The Battle of Mount Hyjal, it’s only five bosses. Though you’ll still have to be attuned and level 70+ to take the challenge on.

Both are currently available, and Blizzard released some patch notes, with some hotfixes. Tier 4 and 5 tokens can be exchanged for season one and season two gear at the tier vendors now that season three is on. PvP faction items now have an Honored reputation requirement, changed from Revered. The Call to Arms daily quest will now provide you with three battleground marks and the bonus honor reward is increased.

You can read the full details on the raids by visiting the hub for World of Warcraft: Burning Crusade Classic for more on the patch hotfixes and changes, see the full list.
